Yes, it's always interesting to find Korean glam rock. At my previous post, I write about Angel Heart, Korean glam rock or you may say it Korean-visual-kei if you're familiar with this thing.
This time, I'll talk about Ban Zelt (반젤트)
(Haunted jealously? no)
Members are :
Vocal - Min Ho Guitar - Riu Guitar - J Bass- U-Jin Drum -
They're quite a new band and just throws a single / demo entitled "Butterfly" at 2013.12.02
You may hear the demo on the youtube in their official account :
https://www.youtube.com/user/banzeltband?feature=watch
Imo, I think they have a good music but, they need to make some improvement on the vocal because it's a bit crappy. Well, I don't mind a crappy vocal but, I don't know if they are many people like a crappy one like me. Furthermore, music scene in Korea is kinda harsh for un-Kpop-things. I think they have to be A SUPER DUPER GREAT BAND to make it.
Now, I just hope there are some VisKei fans out there who can make they are recognizable by throwing a fact "OH, I FIND KOREAN VISKEI BAND". Just like I did.
(PS. just saw the influences on the facebook and now I know how they can come up with this viskei band)

Support the band, kudasai!
Well, sebenarnya niat aku ngeblog hari ini bukan untuk ngomongin 'disbandment'. But, still, the word ' disbandment' left me uneasy feeling. Dan, aku ngecek di edohsama blogspot siapa band yang lagi - lagi menyatakan diri mau disbanding. It' s A(エース). Wow, quite shocking. Aku emang sama sekali belum pernah dengerin karya mereka ataupun ngikutin perkembangan mereka, tapi setauku mereka punya reputasi yang cukup dan fans yang cukup banyak. Beberapa orang kukenal di fb juga quite fond of them. I bet there are many people talk about this in my timeline. Talking about how unbelievable or how sad it is. Then, they are asking why did this happened. But, the answer remains unsaid and they shall be mourned till they find another good band with some good looking guys. Pffftt....happens a lot.
And there is another pattern when some of the disbandment band members choose to continue their ways in making music and they make a new band with some new members but, in the end, the band is worse than ever. Bahkan, sama sekali ngga mendekati ekspetasi yang diharapkan para fans mereka. Pffft...this happens alot, too. Yang jarang terjadi itu kalau band yang baru kebentuk ini exceeding the fans' expectations, at least imo. Aku jarang banget nemuin band yang malahan jadi bagus setelah mereka ngelewatin proses 'disbandment' ini. I wonder about it sometimes. Mungkin karena motivasi mereka untuk ngeband berubah atau mungkin mereka sendiri sudah ngga se-excited pertama kalinya mereka ngeband. Entahlah, kebanyakan band yang baru kebentuk itu sounds like shit.
Oiya, my intention to write this post is not picking a fight, but you do have some nice opinions over this post, I'm glad to hear that. This is merely my blabbering over 'disbandment' issue and trust me, aku juga salah satu dari fans yang suka ngebanjirin timeline orang waktu tau band yang favoritku disben dan lupa sama band itu waktu nemuin band baru yang lebih bagus, lol. I've been through this path over and over for a quite long time, I guess. And it makes me realize there is no advantage on mourning this 'disbandment' band because there must be another good bands ou there and all you have to do is looking for them. Besides, they've been selfish by disbanding so, I will be selfish by forgetting them and finding myself another one, lol. But, then, I respect any long-terms-band yang sudah bertahun - tahun berjuang untuk terus - terusan berkarya dengan anggota band yang sama walaupun in the end, masing - masing dari mereka punya proyek sendiri - sendiri. Perjuangan untuk ngebangun band sampai sekian lama itu ngga gampang dan itu hebat banget, menurutku.
Akhir kata, sebelum post ini kututup, you have my sincerest condolences, A(エース) fans. Tapi aku yakin kalian nantinya nemuin band yang hebat seperti A(エース) ataupun lebih. Cheer up, bro!
Now, after a (not too) long hiatus, I'm back, ready to post a new band here. They are not too new though, but I'd just find out about some weeks ago. They are Angel Heart
They are a Visual Kei band in 90's era so, if you like Syndrome, After Image, and some other 90's Visual Kei bands, you may check about this band because they sound good. This band is one of rare Visual Kei bands which is existed in Korea. Sadly, there is no news about them anymore and they just disappeared. Too bad.
And about their songs, I find some in yt and just fall in love with them. This one is the first song that I've heard from them and I think the vocalist has a slight similar voice with Riku

Not bad, huh? This one is truly my favorite. If you don't pay attention a lot, you may think this is a song from Japanese 90's Visual Kei bands (just like me who later understand that he speaks Hangul)
I put some description about them from lastfm :
Angel Heart was formed in the year of 1999, becoming Korea’s first ever
major visual rock band, inspired by the early visual kei scene of Japan.
Consisting of four members at the time, Sopia [currently named Kaiser],
Serra, Ruiza, and Jimmy spearheaded a revolution in the music industry
by introducing their own unique sound and lending a hand in raising the
popularity of rock music in Korea.
On March 8th of 2000, Angel Heart’s first mini album, Poem of Angel was
released, which included six tracks excluding a filmed bonus, two music
videos and two instrumental tracks. The featured songs, Scarlet Eyes and
Desire Love received the most attention from the mini-album, but the
band itself was not gaining enough attention to be publicly recognized
on a wide scale. Mention of them was swiftly diminishing over the next
couple of years, and in 2001, Serra, Jimmy and Ruiza left Angel Heart
due to military service and school-related issues, leaving vocalist
Sopia by himself.
Afterwards, Angel Heart would undergo a prolonged hiatus without the
slightest mention of future activity or even a new reformation of the
band. Finally, three years later in 2004, Sopia discarded his name for a
new one, Kaiser, and revived Angel Heart with five new members— Kaero,
Dan, Kuma, Jiruji, and Horyong. With this, their second album, Rebirth,
was released under the Kaiser Empire label on the 23rd of June, bearing
fourteen complete tracks without any additional video footage or music
videos. Additionally, Rebirth came out in two different types; Part 1
[white release] and Part 2 [black release]. The significance of the
separate titles lies in two tracks of the fourteen on each album. The
white release features two songs of a sweeter, lighter melody, Paradise
and Forenoon, while it’s counterpart, the black release, bears Spilled
Blood and Fade Heart; both of a much more dark nature. Rebirth proved
far more successful than Poem of Angel, and allowed Angel Heart to
engage in activity across the country once more as the band was in high
demand after such improvement and absence from the public stage.
Shotgun, the featured track of both versions of Rebirth received a lot
of positive responses and was performed in the majority of Angel Heart’s
concerts after the music video was also embraced.
Since then, mention of Angel Heart had spread to countries outside of
Korea, and distribution of the albums were added to international online
media stores such as yesasia.com, one of the most widely used net shops
for asian and western media. Although information of the band remains
very scarce [as the rock music in Korea is not quite as vast as pop,
ballad or R&B] the availability of their work through these stores
along with the devotion of their worldwide fans still keeps their name
alive to this day.
Based on the explanation above, it's clearly that the band has two phases, considering the changing of the members. First phase, when Angel Heart consists of Sopia,
Serra, Ruiza, and Jimmy.

and the second phase, when Angel Heart consists of Sopia/Kaiser, Kaero,
Dan, Kuma, Jiruji, and Horyong.

Both of them are good, imo. But the most important : I CAN'T DECIDE WHETHER I'LL GO TO
DAN
OR
KAERO
*le me
Here's Diru old song

enjoy!
SE track or some of you might know it as 'instrumental track', as I do. Well, if there is someone who wants to correct me, I don't mind because I don't really know about SE track in real. But still, I'm gonna talk about SE track. There is a lot-lot-lot SE tracks in this world. SO, I'm gonna limit it and talks about SE tracks in some visual kei's bands.
There is some SE tracks that catch my ear and successfully being my fave when I'm into my headset:
1. People Error by The GazettE
I pick this SE over the others because it's....well, I think it really bring the content that Ruki wants to say about human, as the title said, People Error. I can feel the sadness or the disappointment about the error of what people do these days. Besides, I have unbearable desire with piano. That might explain why I fall into this SE.
2. Omnia Vanitas by NEGA
Yu....well, I'm speechless. He always succeed to make me trembling with his tunes and this is, straightly, become my fave and it's always good not to hear Jin singing but, whispering. I really hope Yu can be a pianist someday.
3. Ningyo by Vidoll
First, I want to say sorry because I can't find the Ningyo version only, so I post this one.
Second, fuck you, Rame! You dress like a kawaii girl and play like a boss! I don't know that bass can be THIS interesting before I hear Vidoll's songs. Rame is the one who bring me to like Vidoll's songs. Sadly, they are disbanded. Hopefully, he can kick some asses that he did in Vidoll with his new band.
4. Forsaken Sorrow by Forbidden Days Rhapsody
This is a Mika's project (ex. Rentrer en Soi). It's touching. In some points, it can make you *coughs* cry and *coughs* forget your problems
Well, I guess this my top four SE tracks for now. I might have some others but, these SE tracks are exactly the tracks I've been listening into these days. Mind to share your fave SE track?
As my previous post about Nega's latest PV in MP, I mention that it looks a lot like The GazettE's Chizuru. Well, it is, for about first 4 minutes. The same outfit (especially for Jin) with the same atmosphere really bring back The Gazette's Chizuru mood into my mind. Then, my mind goes into Dir en Grey's Red Soil. Now, it's not about the same outfit (Kyo didn't wear bra like Jin does, rite? :p ) but the set and the hands in that PV. I realize it's not as 'same' as it does with The GazettE's Chizuru, but still I'm thinking about Dir en Grey's Red Soil when I see it. Fortunately, Nega still clings into their "stuff" for the rest of PV which are blood everywhere, every members looks suffering, going to die or go die themselves.
I don't mean to bash Nega or something else, but throwing my honest opinion about their new PV. I do understand that they have very own concept in making a PV, it may looks a bit similar in this and that thing. Also, I do understand that Nega's Munashiki song are NOT similar with The GazettE's Chizuru or Dir en Grey's Red Soil.
Btw, Yuu and SAN make a badass intro for this song.
