Kadang wedrama Korea menarik buat disimak dan mini drama ini salah satu drama yang menurutku patut buat dilihat. Bukan hanya karena temanya berkisar tentang makanan, tapi drama ini khususnya menceritakan tentang makanan halal. Wait, tentang makanan halal di Korea? Tumben banget kan. Selidik-selidik drama ini memang dibuat untuk promosi makanan halal di Korea yang diprakarsai K-Food Fair 2015.

Dimakan dong, mbak. Halal kok

Untuk ide cerita, simple aja drama ini tentang cowo Korea yang suka dengan cewe Indonesia dan kebetulan juga, cowo ini anak pemilik kedai makanan. Jadi, dia pengen banget kalo cewe yang disukai makan masakan buatannya. Tapi, cewe tersebut terus-terusan nolak makanan yang saban hari ditinggalin cowo itu di lokernya karena mamanya cewe itu pesen kalo makanan itu kali-kali aja ngga halal, berhubung ada kemungkinan cowo itu ngga tau soal masakan halal. Padahal si cowo diam-diam udah belajar tentang makanan halal, bela-belain latian buat masak makanan halal terus belanja bahan masakan halal di toko yang sama dengan si cewe. Intinya, si cowo mati-matian berusaha supaya si cewe mau makan masakannya, Well, sederhana aja kan ceritanya.

Karakter yang gue suka banget disini

Drama ini juga tergolong pendek banget, cuman 3 episode. Tapi, menurutku ya udah lumayan lah, ngga lebai. Kayak average romance story. Boy meets a girl. The boy falls in love with the girl. The boy struggled to get attention from the girl. Gitu aja. Nilai plus drama ini ya karena bisa liat kalo makanan halal udah mulai diperhatikan di Korea sana. Untuk karakternya, cuman ada lima karakter yang bisa dibilang utama di drama ini. Si cowo bernama Yong yang diperankan Ji Soo, si cewe bernama Yulia yang diperankan Amelia Tantono, bapaknya Yong yang diperankan Kang Suemin, temannya Yulia yang diperankan Anisa Luthflarrahman, dan pemilik toko yang diperankan Jo Jeahyun. Satu-satunya orang yang kutahu cuman Jo Jeahyun, hahaha.

Overall, drama ini asik ditonton. Lagian running time-nya cuman bentar doang, ngga sampe 1 jam kayaknya. Bisa liat makanan halal yang dimasak orang Korea, why not? anyway, the drama could be watched in here

About KDrama: The Village: Achiara's Secret (2015)

Finally, it's done! I tried to finish watching it for several times and last night, mission's accomplished! My comment about this drama is it's like watching Game of Thrones and I'm not a fan of Game of Thrones. In fact, watching some first episodes are like torture for me. There are many things mixed in the story. I don't know if the script writer did try to make the drama as complicated as ever, But, no. It doesn't work for me. It's too much for one drama because everything is entangled in a forced plot story. I'm a bit disappointed watching it since this is the first time I saw Moon Geun-Young after A Tale of Two Sisters and I admit I have much expectation for this movie. Also, since this drama is mystery drama, just as same as A Tale of Two Sisters, which is a mystery film. But, there is nothing I can do about it. I know there are some other people who liked this drama, I'm just happened to be one of the people who find it okay, just an okay drama. I'm also aware to create a mystery drama isn't an easy job. I've watched several and most of them are no good. 

The actors and the actresses, I think they put their best in portraying their characters because they succeeded in making me tormented. I mean, I can't believe how innocent and dumb (sorry) Han So Yoon here and Moon Geun-Young can express those unbelieveable traits perfectly. Really, for some first episodes, the story flows in a very slowly pace, so slowly that I want to pull out my hair. The main character is too dumb (sorry again) to figure out some easy things. Fortunately, for several last episodes, the main character's traits improve into a better one. This is one of the causes why I don't like the drama. The main character's dumbness is unbearable, maybe she's supposed to be an innocent girl but, that's not what I feel. Moreover, I like the supporting characters. All of the supporting characters are good, Honestly, the actors and the actresses in here have powerful characteristics and that's why I kept watching it. Last word, I think 16 episodes are too much for the drama because everything is pretty obvious in 8-9 episode; I mean, I figure out the mystery, even before I'm reaching the last episode.
