Just you wait
Didn't expect anything when my friend told me to watch this film. Thought it would be a mere thriller movie since my friend had known that I favored thriller movies and she, sometimes, recommended some for me. The first tale is quite amazing, to be the beginning of the movie. It's impressive and I really didn't see it coming, that the first story would be happened in such way. The simple premise, which later, developed into amazing story. The first story initiated the other tales which also has great developing plot. The director, Damian Szifron, ensured the audience, from the very beginning, that this movie would blow your mind.
Such a happy couple, really?
Since the movie was kinda omnibus, you had several stories to favor. There were Pasternak, The Rats, Road to Hell, Bombita, The Deal, and Till Death Do Us Part). Personally, my favorite was Road to Hell because it was so ridiculous, too ridiculous I reckon. But, it's the wild tales, what could you expect? It's the wildest imagination of the director. Ah yes, the stories in the movie mirrored everyone's daily lives which made the movie was so natural, naturally strange, though. Because it didn't end up like your everyday lives. For me, it was worth watching because it was witty, funny, and surely different. Two thumbs up for the director for thinking these tales and successfully, projected those into a movie. No wonder Almodovar was the producer and it was the nominee for best foreign movies. Well done, Sir! Great actors and actresses, too!

(As usual)
